He he!! not the weather, today is actually a bit cloudy, but the papers I have used today!!

This time over at Totally Tilda we would like you to use Punches AND Dies. easy peasy!!

I have made this card for a dear friends birthday. Of course of image is a beautiful tilda! she has been coloured in with my copics and I have paper pieced her lovely coat and boots!! how posh!! matching coat and boots!!! the afore mentioned papers are MME Good day sunshine!! girl edition! Too cool!! the flower is a prima with a spacer and a WOC brad, the fence is a magnolia do-hickey and the butterflies are a MS punch!

Tilda with doily!

Evening all!

Just a quickie tonight, hubby is home from rigs and night in front of tv with take out is on the cards!! ..... well.... not on my cards........thats Tilda......ummm.... !! lol!!

I ordered my new Maggies from Sir stampalot!!! Sshhhh it's a secret but I bought 10!!! just don't tell hubby!!! Lol!! and those 10 were after hours of hair pulling because I stared with about 16!!!!

I have coloured my Tilda with copics and she is mounted onto Magnolia paper, the doily is a cheery Lynne die! flowers, pearls and metal corner are from WOC and ribbon from stash!

Good morning .. just!! Today over at Basic grey challenge our theme is wish upon a star!

That is we would love to see all your fab creations using a star or stars and of course a Basic grey product or products!!

Bit of a difference to yesterdays subtle offering eh!!

I have used the fabulous digi of wryn from TiddlyInks I just love this new little girl!! She is coloured as per. with my trusty copics! there is a liberal sprinkling of glittter on the crown and her wand, not to mention the sparkly magic coming from her wand!! Of course the great paper is basic grey June bug!! so bright and cheerful! and I lurve this tartan!! I have cut the stars with a spellbinder, the crystals are from my stash!

Tilda with a tag!!

Good evening!!

Tonight I am a little distressed!!

Well at least my card is! Lol!! were you worried?? ... Sorry!! Don't often do the whole distressing thing but I really love how this turned out!! So off course the image is the sweetest ballerina.. Tilda I have coloured her with my copic markers, there is a pretty touch of glitter on her crown and shoes, but doesn't show up in piccie! But I'm not going to moan about my photo tonight! Makes a change eh!! Lol! All the DP's are Magnolia and the Matting is Bazzil. I have cut a tag with a magnolia do-hickey, and coloured with distress inks. The beautiful little cabochon gems where a christmas gift from my dear friend Gail! and the flowers are Wild orchid crafts!

hope you are all keeping warm and safe! I have to admit we haven't had any snow here in Dundee and seeing all the chaos in other parts of the country feels a bit sureal!!

Tonight I have a card I made using the super cute "Peaches" by Mo Manning!

I have followed another fab sketch from sketch and stash, I have rotated it 90 degrees!

I have coloured this sweetie with my copics, the DP's are Graphic 45 soo pretty but I haven't used them for an age!! Probably because they are quite summery!! I think the daisies were crafty emma's and the ribbon and lace are from my stash!

Another cutie pie from the uber talented Krista smith!! She's called Party Hardy

Isn't she just the cutest!!!

I had great fun colouring her in!!

Well as usual I coloured her with my copics, the DP's are Echo park springtime, the matting cardstock is also from the collection! I followed the great sketch over a totally gorjuss, the extra bunting is cut out with a magnolia do-hickey die, and the pearls and flowers are from wild orchid crafts!

I am entering this card into the my mums craft shop challenge and DT call!! I love the shop and would love to be on the design team!!! hint hint!! Lol!! wish me luck!!

beautiful new Saturated canary Digi!!

Evening all!!

Today I have a card to share with you made with my brand new freebie digi from the lovely and Generous Krista Smith!!

~~Sorry for poopy piccie didn't manage to finish till after dark~~, Replaced with piccie taken today!! yaaay!! and good news new bulb arrived this morning!! double yaay!! and last night............ Calamity!!! My daylight bulb blew and did I have a spare?!?! No!! and I was only thinking about getting a spare the other day!! D'oh!!!!!

Aaah Don't worry I haven't gone all soppy on you!! .....well maybe just a wee bit!!

Oooh I love these new Tilda's!! this is Tilda with cozy heart!! I have coloured her with my copics, the DP is 1st editon Love letters, the chipboard heart I cut out with a sizzix die and coloured with my copics to match the image then I put a good layer ranger crackle glaze on then dropped some beadazzles (not to be confused with vajazzles!!! Lol!!) and glass glitter! the flowers are prima with a brad in the middle and the ticket die is tim holtz with the sentiment embossed in white.

Firstly

WHOOPEEE!!

Look what I got!!!

I got Top three at Saturated Canary challenge!!! I got this super cute badge for my blog via E-mail from Krista herself!!!!! Well... I think it was Krista.. but that's what I choose to believe!! Lol!!

So to todays Card!

See so far so good, I am being a bit better a posting regularly!!

I have used another fab Krista image! and I have gone for the clean and simple look again!!.. at least I think it's CAS no bows or lace or squilions of flowers!! D'know what? after making this card and re - falling in love with with this heart die, the fairies in my craft room stole it!!!! I KNOW!!!!... Naughty fairies!!!! they are always stealing my crafty stash!!!! .... or do I just need to tidy my craft room....Hmmmmmm Lol!!.....Nope defo the fairies!!!

Anyhoo I have coloured the image with my faithful copics! and used diamond sparkles glitter. the DP's are SEI Chocolat... Mmmm I love this collection and I can't get them anymore :( the Doily die is MFTt the aforementioned heart die is a marianne (I've looked everywhere!! I promise!!) and the gems are WOC. with ribbon from stash! ooh and the corners are: the plain ones are quickutz and the flower is a corner punch!

Well those of you who are kind enough to visit me regularly will no doubt know I do love my Magnolia stamps, andhere I have used 2 apple pie tilda from the stunning sweet crazy love collection and the sentiment. I also love my basic grey .... Of course!! Here I have used curio 12x12 papers and of course I love me some WOC flowers, lace and pearls!! in fact I love everything I used on this card!!

Clean and simple...... Moi?

Wow what a beautiful day here in the sunny east of Scotland!!

The sun is shining, the sky is blue and it's not that cold either!!! Blissss!!! Roll on spring is what I say!! although now that I said that it will probably snow!! Lol!!

Today I have a clean and simple card to share!!

Phew, no flowers ribbons or lace!!!!!but I must confess I really love the way it has turned out!!! Although there isn't any way to hide mistakes in this type of card!! come on which of us hasn't popped a flower on a smudge or wrinkle!! Lol!!

The image is of course by the lovely Krista smith! over at saturated Canary digi's . This Fab Digi is called Ellies Birthday! I have coloured her with my copics, I felt she called for some nice vibrant colours! the quote is from an Inkadinkadoo set all the way from simon says stamp in America! and the cardstock is bazzil and buttons stampin up!

Hi All

I hope you all had a fab christmas and santa was good to you!

Just a very quickie today I wanted to catch the Just magnolia challenge!

This was one of those cards that in theory was fantastic!! it just didn't seem to translate to a card somehow :( and then to add insult to injury the photo seriously sucks!! Lol!! I will try to find 5minutes of daylight tomorrow and take another pic for you!!

I have used Tilda loves flowers from the latest sweet crazy love collection! another great release from magnolia!! the papers are Stamin' up. and I have coloured with my copics the flowers and corner are WOC, I airbrushed the blue roses a little to make them blend better!

Hi all hope your are all cosy and warm and ready for christmas!!!

I am Na nana na na na!!! Lol!!! Well I kind of had to be as Hubby is now gone to work for 2 weeks, Boo Hooo!! and I am a bit stuck without my chauffer!! And of course I will miss him dreadfully over christmas!! so it's just me and Logan this year! hubby will be home (weather permitting) on the 30th.

Totally Tilda DT - WOW!!

Hi All

Wow not long till christmas now!!! hope you're all more organised than me! Lol!!

Hubby only came home from the oil rig yesterday so loads of shopping to catch up on!! Guess What!! he's only working christmas!!!! Oh well money is money these days!! Logan and I will have a little christmas together, and then another when DH comes home on the 30th!!

Well onto this fortnights challenge over at Totally Tilda, We would like to see your creations featuring white on white!! this is a really strict challenge, there can be no colour at all apart from skin and hair!! not even shading!!! I know!!!!.. I thought OMG when I saw it too!! .....But... I loved it!!!

Right then so apart from hair and skin, as I have mentioned there must be NO colouring at all, we would like to see on your creation however, dry embossing and glitter!!

Here is my attempt!

Hmmm turned out better than I expected!! infact I really like it!!! not often I say that!!

Well the image is of course magnolia tilda from the new sweet christmas dreams collection, the colouring (such as it is) is copics, embossing folder is a cuttlebug one, add a marrianne die poinsettia and a do-hickey fence some pearls and Muslin oodles of glitter and a pinch of flock and Bobs your uncle!!

Fab Box envelopes and candy alert

Hi All!!

Well if your anything like me you lurve embellishements!!! and especially the wild orchid flowers!!! BUT............ Boxes!!!! Aaaaarrrgggggghhh I HATE making them!!! only the other night I was making 2 boxes for cards when I should have, and indeed wanted to be in bed, and lo and behold I made 4 lids instead of 2 lids and 2 bases!!! Aaaarrrrgggh well you get the Idea!! ROFL!!

Well Tracy Payne AKA Crafteezee has had some box envelopes proffessionally made and mine arrived this morning........WOWZA!!!! they are amazing!!! Truly they are unbelievable quality, and really lovely, and best yet excellent value for money!! I am a very happy crafter!!

So Tracy is not only selling these fab boxes she also has some for candy!! you can be sure I am entering as I see a lot of fancy cards in my future!! Lol!!

Basicgrey DT - "lost and found"

'Morning all!!

Phew we're having some blustery weather at the moment!! Well today I have a card that I made for the latest Basicgrey challenge which is "Lost and found" We want to see you use items from around the house in your creations, Wow this challenge made me just a little more grey!!! Lol!!! I am the first to admit I am not the most imaginative crafter! I follow direction OK, but make me think outside the box and I'm lost!!!! I call myself a "missionary position" crafter!!! ROFL!! no imagination!! So here is my DT contribution... Mark 5.. ish!!!!

I have used the inside of a cereal box as my "kraft" card, I did try stamping on the card and using prisma's.. Hmmmm maybe some pencils for sale on my ebay is on the cards!!

Totally Tilda DT - Christmas no Red, green or Blue!!!

Good Morning!!

Wow Sunday again!! Time for another challenge over at Totally Tilda!! this Fortnight we would love to see your Christmas creations!, but here's the twist! NO Red, Green or Blue!!! Well when I first saw this challenge I thought Eeek!!! but diligently had a go, well it was huge fun!! the hardest part was the green!! I can't tell you how many times I thought I had it sorted, only to realise there was a bit of holly or leaves on the paper!! well folks that a no no!! Lol!! but I finally managed and here is my creation!

I have used one of the new christmas Maggies!! I am soooo loving this collection!! she is coloured with my copics, with a hint of glitter the paper is anna Griffin, the big snowflake a nestie and the poisettias a marianne die. the metal corner and crystals are WOC, lace and ribbon stash!

just a quickie for just magnolia!

Hi Folks!

just a quickie as I have been preparing this card for the just magnolia/Hanglar challenge for days literally!! Ever get a card that you get so far... almost finish in this case, but then just hit a wall!!! Well this card has been sitting half made in my craft room for at least 4 or 5 days!! so today I was determined to get it finished in time for the Just magnolia challenge!!

Wow To add insult to injury the photo REALLY Sucks!!!!!!! this time of year the light goes really orange from about 2.30 inwards I will try to get a better pic and replace this monstrosity!! Lol!!! Well in case you can't tell the papers are gorgeous Maja design and they are a very pretty grey and red, I have coloured the lovely little hanglar girl to match. It is a centre step card which I am very pleased with but due to bad lighting I really couldn't get a good pic of it stood up!! that being said I am having a few issues with it standing up un- aided!! if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it!!

Well I'm off to hang my head in shame!!!

I went for a vintage/distressed look and I'm quite pleased with the way it came out! although the white distress paint turned a little pink on the poinsettia!!

Today I have a card I made with one of the lovely new Magnolia Christmas stamps!

Wow 2 in a row I am happy with!!! Although as usual I am not so happy this the photography!!! I have followed that sketch over at CLP and made it by the skin of me teeth!! lol!! the sketch is fairly complicated so I have kept the embellies fairly simple, one of the layers is muslin but it's a little difficult to see!

So of course it's..... Tilda time!!! Lol!!!

I initially started this card for just magnolia's pink challenge then realised it would be closed by the time I post my basicgrey challenge. D'oh!!! he he !! I was really pleased with the way this card came out!! and it's funny because normally it takes me a ridiculous amount of time to go from coloured image to finished product, but I was losing light!! and I really rushed!! and it came out better than normal!! well if you followed that mighty sentance you're a better woman than me!! ROFL!!

I may be making slightly less sense than normal because its 11.46pm and I am half asleep and Logie and I have just watched Paranormal activity 2!!! Guess who's sleeping with the lights on tonight!!! and it won't be no.1 son!!

Hi All

Well the weekend is rolling in again!! has anyone any great plans?! another quiet one for me! It's so frustrating that the SECC is on this weekend and DH is working away so I can't get there!!! Ho Hum, I guess that's what internet shopping is for!! Lol!!!

Stroppy Beth! saturated Canary challenge 1!!

Well who could resist the chance to win 2 of Krista's fab digis' I have to confess I am a bonefide addict!!! if you haven't seen Krista's amazing digi stamps you just have to check them out here !

Wow I just love this wee Madam!! I have followed the sketch, over at the 1st Saturated canary challenge and although I haven't followed the option of Halloween I have tried to incorporate some of the colours from the inspiration photos!!

I have used "stroppy beth" coloured with my Copics, the buttons are stampin up, the ribbons from my stash and the paper is a DCWV teenage stack that I've had for ages and I couldn't believe how well it matched my image (yes I do colour my image first!!!)

As I mentioned I would like to enter this card into the Saturated Canary challenge which is a sketch with the option of halloween.

Well I promise to leave you alone for the rest of the day!!! he he!! I hope to post a pic. my new copic storage later this week rather proud of it!!

Well It's Sunday again!! Time seems to fly by, maybe I'm getting old (Getting?!?! Lol!!) Happy Sunday all!! Sorry I have been MIA recently not been too well with the old Fibro Myalgia!! And Honestly trying to eek some sense put of my old laptop is soooooo frustrating as well!!!

well I took the easy route!!! a beer mat!! I have never done a mini album and was going to give it a try but between health issues and not knowing where to start ......... Ta Da!!!!! a beer mat!!lol!!

I have used beautiful tilda and of course she is coloured with copics, honestly I don't know the colours I had this wee beauty coloured up for a while!! the DP is from Qvc I think it may be best creations, oooh I'm not doing well today am I ??? the flowers I do know are wild orchid crafts, Phew knew something!! Rofl the die is a MFT from my mums crafts shop and the butterflies are punched out of white glitter paper with a MS punch!!

Phew So sorry I lost track of time!!! I was sure candy was due next week when it suddenly dawned on me!!!! Eeeek missed the date!!!

First Christmas card of 2011!!

Christmas is comeing the goose is getting fat!! hehe well the goose is probably only a little plump yet!! But I couldn't resist making a card with my Fabarooni new sugar nellie christmas stamps!! they are sooo cute!! I have coloured a few so far but only finished one card.

Isn't she lovely!!! I feel she is like a Disney princess and she and that sweet little robin are singing to each other!! I know... I'm a sap!!! Lol Well I made all sorts of proclamations this year saying that my christmas cards were going to be modern and blue!! But deep down I knew I would resort back to Traditional, just didn't think it would be quite this soon!!! Lol!! This is also my first go at Bev's clouds, and although they aren't perfect I am pretty pleased!!! Hmm just had another look!! well maybe a bit more practice is called for!!! hehe.

Phew my poor old laptop is seriously heading for the great computor shop in the sky!!!!

WHO WANTS CANDY!!!!!!!

Well it's official, it's one year to the day, I jumped into this magical world full of candy, inspiration, challenges and the most wonderful people!!!

Before we get to the candy your dentist will approve of I have a wee card to share!!

And a wee peek inside, I don't know which is more crooked the pic or the layering!!!! Lol!!

I have to say I fell in love with this sketch from cute card thursday and it is definately going into my little folder on my desktop of fav sketches!!!! And don't you just Love love love this sweet Elisabeth Bell image!!! I have a storage desk that has loads of drawers, and I have had to have a sort out recently because I needed a whole Elisabeth Bell drawer!!!! I have coloured the image with my copics: trousers, W03, 05, 07, 09. Blouse T01, 03, 05. purples: BV 20, 23, 25. The DPs are a mix of anna griffin and the glorious black and white is Maja! matting is Bazzil victorian iris, I mention this because I searched for the longest time for a cardsock to match the copic BV's Flowers are Wild orchid crafts. and the little bird house charm was from ebay.

Back to school Tilda!!

Am I showing my age now!! Lol!!! Well over at Totally Tilda this fortnight we are looking for your back to school creations!! Up here in sunny Scotland the kids have been back for over a week, so the tears have died down a little (tears of happiness from the parents that is!!! ROFL!!) Now I didn't have a classic "school" Tilda (baaad Jacqui!!) but hopefully that will show that you can use your other Tildas for this theme!!

I thought this little Tilda looked reasonably "schoolish" albeit a slighty french school girl!! I am rather pleased with the way the colouring came out on this card!! Red is my nemesis, but I have recently taken the plunge with some neenah cardstock and I have to say that it has made an unbelievable difference to my colouring!!! I tried to colour in an image that I had stamped on my previous cardstock and could hardly bear it!!!

Hello I hope your all having a smashing weekend so far!!! We seem to be having a last "hail Mary of a summer here in Dundee!!! the last 2 days have been Terrific!!! Ok not shorts and t-shirt warm but sunny and not cold!! Today I have a very exciting card for me!! I have been trying to get hold of this stamp for years!!!! and have been out bid on ebay more times than I care to count!!! But my lovely friend all the way over the pond Gail, Lacey Lassy you really must go check out her blog, she has some amazing cards on show, and when you visit tell her Jacqui said to start entering some comps!!!!! lol!!! Anyhoo Gail sent me some fab images and oodles of goodies for my birthday, thanks again hun!! and I have coloured up 3 so far!! Watch this space!!!;) Although since then she has been released by Belles n whistles!!

Totally Tilda challenge 29 - fit for a princess

I'm here!! Wooo Hooo!! Come on who stole the last few weeks!!! Well I know I have been a bad bloggeer lately between No.1 son on school hols, my Birthday, and still coming to grips with new Fibro Myalgia diagnosis and meds, I just don't know where the time has gone!!! Anyhoo I will try to be better, and Logan goes back to school this week so will have a little now craft time!!

This week over at Totally Tilda Towers! we want to see all you cards that are fit for a princess!! this means either a princess Tilda or the word pricess or a crown or hey why not all three!!! hehe!!

So I have used princess Tilda, And she has her very own princess castle!! there is actually a ridiculous amount of sparkle on this card, with Stickles on the flowers and Hunkydory diamond sparkles on Tilda and the turrets and gate of castle! Basic grey DT- Sizzling summer - and my baby is home again!!!!!! OMG the Washing!!!!

Wooo Hooo happy saturday all!!! well yesterday was my birthday Woo hoo!! and I spent it alone Aaaaah!!! until 6.45pm when my baby came home from Annual camp after being away for 2 weeks!!! Wooo Hooooooooo!!!!!! but then I opened his kit bags this morning AAaaaarrrrrgggghhhh!!!!! Imagine if you dare a 13 coming up 14 year old boy, away from home for 2weeks, assault courses, parades, field craft (shimmying around in the mud in the woods!!) water sports and 30 degree heat!! yes peeps we ARE talking 20pairs of socks to say the least offensive thing all packed in with everything else!!!!! lets just say, me and the washing machine are going to be besties this week!!!!!

Anyhoo back to the business at hand (will be a quickie have an appt. with maching machine!!) over at Basicgrey challenges we have the challenge of sizzling summer!! (not seen too much of that here in Dundee!!!) and as ever we have a Fabby prize of a $25 Dollar gift cert from Simon says stamp!!!

Sorry for the dreadful photography!!! Anyway I have used the beautiful sugar nellie/elisabeth bell, "Daisy" The DP is basicgrey Hopscotch, image is coloured with my copics, the flowers and pearls are as always wild orchid crafts and the sentiment is LOTV.

Oh My Goodness... here goes!!! Totally Tilda DT- pearls, swirls, ribbon and lace

Hi all! Well Here goes my first ever Totally Tilda DT post!!

If anyone has seen all the Fab Talent on the Design team you'll know why I'm nervous!! and if not .. Where have you been!!!!!! But I have to say I have been totally Blown away by the Fantastic welcome I have recieved!! what a great (and sometimes nutty .. in a good way honest!!) bunch of Gals!!! I have had such fun!! Well the challenge this week is a recipe! - pearls, swirls, ribbon and lace!! now I usually use a grand old heeping of various of these but it was real fun putting them all together!!

As usual a little peek at the inside!

I tried to go for something a little different, making the background black and white and colouring Tilda in subtle colours to match the DP and embellies!! then I tried to make the butterfly "pop" by colouring it in a much for vibrant tone and adding some stardust stickles!!

Hi all!! happy Saturday!! Well I am feeling totally lost today, just waved my son Logan off for 2 weeks army cadets summer camp!! truly don't know what I will do without him!! longest we've been apart is a week and then he with his dad so didn't feel soo bad!! and to add to my misery afore mentioned dad and very lovely hubby is working in Norway at the mo. so totally alone for 2 weeks and it's my birthday in 2 weeks!! luckily Logan will be home the evening of my birthday so all is not lost!! Although I am sure he will arrive home VERY dirty and tired!!! Lol!!

Wow is it really 2 weeks gone by again!!! I think I am getting old!! Lol!!

Hi all, hope you are all well and not growing gills because of all the wet weather we're having Lol!!

Just a quick Lilli of the Valley card for you today

A closer look at the little sweetie!! you can just about see the glitter on her underskirt and hat!

Just kept the embellies fairly simple as I think the DCWV paper does most of the work!! I have added quite a lot of crystal stickles to the card and flowers, although as usual this doesn't show up in my photography!! the flowers and crystals are from wild orchid and the colouring is with copics, the blue is BG70, B0000, 00, 01 the pink is a real mix of R0000, 000, 00. V0000, 00.

Whilst browsing the blogs at midnight last night (as you do!!) I came across a post featuring these cuties! now I've seen a few of them around and they have been starting to intrigue me! so I took a look at the some odd girl shop only to find they have a smashing sale 25% off till the 10th and oodles of digi's!! so I couldn't resist!! so there's me down loading digi's at 12.30 am!! not too sure about the legs though!! but still their sweet faces make me smile!! The challenge over at the Some odd girl blog is bright and blinding!!! how do you think I did?!! I just have to mention that I got my first ever order from stampin up today, and the glorious paper was an added little suprise from the lovely Monica over at my many many passions who is a stampin up demonstrator and seller. the magenta cardstock and button is also from my parcel of goodies!! I won't bother with a recipe today as I think I have covered most items, the flowers are from wild orchid, copics I used for dress and flowers, RV, 17, 19, 63. YR 04, 09, 21, 23. thee flower centres and her bracelet have be glittered with crystal glitter and the flowers diamond stickles.

see I told you I was going to try to be a better blogger!!! amazing what you can achieve between naps!! Lol!!! I initially made this pretty little card for last weeks TOMIC challenge but didn't get to post it! so I thought she would be perfect for just magnolia challenge!!

Hmmmm to say I find the photography bit challenging is an understatment!! the colours are so delicate and there's loads of pretty sparkle on tilda and the mushrooms dots, and a more glitzy sparkle on the flowers!!

Oh I hope you weren't all being rude!!!! I meant a quick post Lol!!!!!

Sorry for being MIA lately have been struggling with a few health issues lately, but finally after years of frustration have been diagnosed with Fibro myalgia! so at least now I can work on getting better and am currently in the process of trying some new medications!!! fingers crossed!!!

So just a quick post today as I made this card for the CLP challenge about a week or so ago and it ends today!! in my defence I did make a card and try to post for the LOTV challenge last week but blogger wouldn't let me load up my pic!!

Wowzer!!!! you've not seen me do this before!! Lol!!! woo hoo the day has finally come I am a guest designer for the fabulous Kenny K!!! And I have just realised that I think it was about challenge 2 that I did my first ever challenge entry EVER via e-mail to KKKG!! and now I'm a guest designer!!! WOOOHOOOO !! The challenge this week is to have checks somewhere on your project!! as soon as I heard the challenge this wee minx came to mind!! now this is totally out of my comfort zone!! and I have never done such a sexy card!! but I am quietly pleased with the result!!

No sweetness and cutesy here!!! just.....wowser!!! he he!! when I showed this to No. 1 son he said Quite plainly "I don't like it"!!! oh! says I taken aback, as No. 1 son is usually No.1 fan!! "it's just not right!" say's he! "oh" says I, "I was quite happy with the way it turned out considering it's something different to my norm, is it the colours or something," "no" says he "It's.... like if a little kid swears or something!!! it's just not you"!!! Awww!! so sweet!!

Hi all, just popped in to say hello!

No new card to show you but I thought I would just show you my new and improved tilda with kite card! I decided to turn it into an easel card! I know I know another easel!! but I do love them!I have also added a little sparkle and some MS butterflies. the kite sentiment is computor generated, and cut out with my nesties, and a little distressing with tattered rose and spun sugar, the same as the main image, all the other deets are in my previous post.

Well that's all tonight oh!! except to apologise to all!! mean old mr Blogger won't let me leave any comments at mo. he keeps telling me to sign in...I dutifully sign in... Hi everyone just a quickie, I've not been too well but I don't want to miss any more deadlines!! Lol!!

Isn't she lovely!! This is Tilda flying a kite (well duh!!) She's a beauty, but kinda hard to mount, she's very big with her kite!! I have coloured her with my copics the DP is Prima, sparkling spring the flowers wild orchid crafts.

See told ya is was a short and sweet one.

Wow were did that fortnight go?!?!?! I really think I must be getting old!! either that or there is a serious problem with the time space continueum!!!! maybe I should call in Dr who (though he's not sexy David tennant anymore:( ) or maybe this is a case for the fringe division!!! Happy tuesday all!! I hope you are all safe and sound after those terrible winds yesterday!! apparently on the news it said that in our area (I live just outside dundee) we had winds of 108 mph!!!!! I knew they were the worst I had ever experienced!! It's utter carnage driving around the area, trees lying everywhere!! mind we must spare a thought for all the people affected by those terrible tornadoes in America!

Today I have a wedding card to show you! the image is by Mo Manning and she is a joy to colour!! as are all Mo's characters! she can be found here she also comes in a hair up version!

I have kept the layout simple as I wanted to show the pretty memery box paper to full effect!

Hi All, hope you had a great weekend!!

Just wondering if anyone has any info on summer stamp club? I am confused!!!!!( I know nothing new there)!!! Lol I ordered club and I felt sure it was due, and thought it might be related to the new sweet rainbows release, but we normally get our club stamps before release!?! I want to order stamps but don't know whats in club! is mine missing? has anyone received theirs? if not when is it due? I notice on Magnolia site they are still accepting orders!! ooooh me is soooooo confused!!!!

Any advice or info. would be really really appreciated!!

Good afternoon

Hope you all are having a fine weekend! I'm feelin a little lost today! my son joined the army cadets on thursday and they're off on a camp this weekend!! he may drive me nuts ~~some~~ most of the time!! Lol! but I do miss him when he's not around!!

Today I have a card to show you that uses a most adorable belles and whistles image of a girl with her cupcake!! I have made yet another easel card!! but to mix it up I made a circle one!! I am quietly pleased with the way it turned out!!

Or should it be, was that summer!!! Not feeling much like summer here in Dundee at the mo!! heavy showers and blustery winds!! isn't that a great word !! Blustery!! makes me think of Winnie the Pooh!!

Well this week over at Mo's digital challenge it is the second week for the Guest design team call!! and it's "here comes summer!"

A mix and match - Basicgrey DT

Happy Saturday all!!

This week over at basicgrey challenge we would like to see you mix and match you BG products! I will not lie I found this a challenge!! (and I can't win the fab prize!! Boo hoo!!) but of course it wasn't until I had finished that I looked at all the faberoony inspiration from the rest of my teamies, and had more ideas!! D'oh (note to self, check out teamies creations when struggling!!!) of course you can use any basic grey products, and they are vast these days, buttons, rub-ons, bling, ribbon to name but a few!! of course I didn't think of any of this!! double d'oh!!!!

So I have used this adorable sugar nellie image, coloured her with my copics, the Basicgrey papers I finally decided on were periphery and marjolaine. I have used some scrummy flowers and pearls from wild orchid crafts, I distressed the metal corner with some crackle paint, the lace die is die-namics, the sentiment is LOTV and ribbon is from my stash!

OH PLEASE!!!!! I'LL BE GOOD PROMISE!!!!! I wanted this guest position sooooo bad It took be the best part of a week to finish this card!!! and then I'm not sure if I overcooked it a little? but I have to try!! Oops nearly forgot the deets!! the image is the adorable two Tasha and can be found here she has some cute friends also!!! Happy Saturday !!!

Wow did it rain last night!!! It woke me up and I thought a plane or something was about to crash into the house!!!! (possibly not helped by being half asleep!!)

Another last minute this one I'm afraid but I just had to squeeze this card into the Totally Tilda challenge!!

Aren't these papers fab!!!! They're from.....hmmm do I want to share this jem of information? anyway I have paper pieced Tilda's dress, the flowers are Wild orchid crafts, as are the metal corners, both of wich I have added a touch of white crackle paint to. I have made an easel card, the base cardstock is bazzil and the sentiment is LOTV....Ok I'll share!!! these papers are more from my new absolutely fav range Rasberry Road!! and they are Digi's so instant gratification!! here is a pic of whole easel card.

Hmmmm I'm a little worried!! .. and a wee bit of candy!!

Now I know we pays our money and takes our chance with the magnolia stamp club, but I have become so addicted to these little cuties that I can't risk not ordering it!! Lol!! and of course the only one I have missed in the last couple of years was the "you are so sweet!!" D'oh!!! I had to go and buy them ALL!!! and the last few releases have been sooo very cute!!

BUT.......

I found this sneak peak on one of the magnolia designers blogs!!

Hmmmmm..... now what card would this be used for..... "happy birthday scruffy"... "I love you now have a bath"...."see I told you if you don't wash you'll attract flies!!" .... Am I the only one?

Hi All

Just a quickie today I am running late for just magnolia and I missed it totally last week.

Really not happy with this pic, may have to replace it at some point! This wee cutie is from the sailor kids set at hanglar, and is a new favourite of mine. I have coloured her with my copics, the fab DP is a Rasberry Road digi paper, the gorgous flowers are wild orchid as is the metal corner. I made the decorative pins my self with swarovski crystals and pearls the doily mat and lace border are die-namics which I got from my mums craft shop.

A very happy Sunday All!!!!! and what a beautiful day/weekend it is!!! as I sit in my craftroom the sun is starting to set and the birds are singing!!! BLISS!!

The card I am showing you today stars another of my current fav's beautiful tilda!!

And she really is beautiful!! I have coloured her with my copics, she is mounted onto my new doily die which I bought from Joanna sheen not many places ypu can still get such service and free P&P!!! the DP is basicgrey Cappella, I have used wild orchid crafts flowers! and I'm waiting very excitedly as I have placed an order for some of the new roses!!! yippee!! the adhesive pearls and the little pearl heart are also WOC and another of my fancy pins!!

guess who made top 3!!!!

ME!!!!!

He he!!! I am chuffed to beans to have been chosen in the top 3 at belles n' whistles!!

As I am sure most of you know I adore Elisabeth Bell!!! and I have coveted this prize since I discovered this fab challenge a few weeks ago!!! I won with my penpal card a couple of posts ago!!

So now for something new!!!

I first discovered Elisabeth Bell many years ago through Sugar nellie! and they have never stopped producing great inspirational products ever since! I love the simply adorables, and I have fallen in love with this new little miss, as you can probabley tell from the fact that she stars in my last card!!

I'm really pleased with the way this came out!! especially since I decided to put a little distress ink on the blueish mat because it wasn't the right colour then decided that the image needed a little distressing to match, then I decided it was too distressed and nearly binned it!! I decided in the end I would have to take it all the way distress wise! (if that makes sense!!) and voila!!

I made an easel card! I coloured the image with my copics, the distress inks are brushed cordroy and frayed burlap, the design paper is K&Co lifes journey, the flowers are wild orchid, swirls and leaves do-hickeys , lace is prima and sentiment is LOTV phew I think thats it!!

The challenges I would like to enter are:

Wild orchid challenge - white + 2 (blue and brown) plus roses

Stamptacular - at least 5 layers

Wow Saturday again!!

So how many of you watched the royal wedding yesterday? I must confess I said I was going to just have a peep to see the dress, only to end up glued to the whole caboodle, I even shed a wee tear!! (I am a sap when it comes to weddings!)

Well over at Basicgrey challenge this week we're even more charming than usual!! our challenge is to use a charm on your project.

How sweet is this Digi by sugar nellie she is called Melissa! I have coloured sweet Melissa with my copics, cut out with my nesties the beautiful Basicgrey papers are sugared, the sentiment is LOTV, my newest fav punch is these lovely butterflies, they are creeping into every card I make lately!! the charm I got from ebay. Happy Wednesday Everyone!!

Well it had to be done!!! with wedding fever reaching a pitch! Tilda and Edwin had to join in!!

Tilda and Edwin have been coloured with my copics, I actually got out my needle and thread to create this ruffled organza ribbon!! (should have seen the dust!! he he!!)

Of course I added my new fav embellishment, my handmade decorative pins!!

And I laid out the beautiful Wild orchid crafts flowers in the shape

of a bouquet.

A video boy, by my own video boy!!!

Thursday already!!!! where has this week gone!! think I'm getting old!!!!

Well a real treat for you all today!!! a card by my own son, Logan!!! over at simon says stamp challenge, they are running a childrens challenge, for children aged between 2 - 16 , a little help from mum is allowed, but I can proudly say the only thing I did on this card is print the fab mo's digital pencil image!! ooh and take a really wonky pic!!!.. sorry Logan!!!

Oh my this pic is really wonky... not the card!!! but my laptop had alzheimers and my camera's usb thingy is broken so I didn't want to chance fate my trying for another one!! Logan is 13 and he coloured the image with pro-markers (mum is mean with her copics!!!... bad mum!!) the sentiment is craftwork cards. and I think this is the best card I have ever laid eyes on!!! :) not that i'm biased.

Logan is entering this card into the simon says stamp childrens challenge - which is anything goes!

Happy Tuesday all!! well it's finally happened, just when I was thinking everyone in blogland seems poorly lately, I am hit!! by a truck it feels like!!! Lol I feel fluey but no cold symptoms just achey (is that spelt right?) bones (more thane usual!) and really tired!! never mind I have a lovely cheery card for you today!!

It's me again!!!

I just realised I had forgotten to enter my Fab 'n' Funky card!!!

I have coloured my tilda with my trusty copics! the DP is Prima sweet fairy, I cut the circles using my quickutz cookie cutter circles. the doily is a die-manics die which my lovely son Logan bought me for mothers day!! don'tcha just love him!!! he also bought me the matching border!! he got it (with a little help from mum!!) from appropriatly named my mums craftshop!! I have to say it's a great little shop with really competative prices and super fast service!! the butterfly is an MS punch.

Hi All!! Today I have made a card using one of the new Butterfly dreams, tilda's!! everytime I use one of these stamps I say I have a new favourite!! but this one is sooooo cute!!!

She's soo happy spring has arrived!! I have incorporated this card into the Paper sundaes Challenge as this reminds me of childhooh holidays in Ireland! My cousins and I would stand at the top of this quite steep hill and just..run!!!! it was so exhilerating! here is the card open

A quickie for quirky!!!

Good evening! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Wow wasn't the weather sublime!!

This evening I have a quick easter card to show you! As I was honoured with winning the Quirky challenge design teams choice a couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to be a guest designer today!! I recieved my Digi's from louby lou's yesterday and managed to produce a cute little easter card!

The image isn't my normal style so I was a little out of my comfort zone, But apart from the deliberately crooked main image Lol!! I am quietly pleased with the result!

I coloured the image with my copics the DP is from an ancient (at least 9years!!) stack that I had lurking in a box at the back of my cupboard!! I found some nice designs so I am pleased!! the flowers are prima, with a little crystal in the middle! the sentiment is also louby lou.

Jinkies!! I totally lost a week!!!

Holy cow Batman!! I have just realised that I have totally missed a week! I thought this week the just magnolia challenge was the bingo one!!! I nearly missed the monthly special!!! So I am going to quickly slip this card in!!!

For once I quite like the way I photographed this easel!! I followed the sketch over at Totally Gorjuss. I have coloured sweet Tilda with my copics the DP is the sublime "blush" collection by Basic grey, I have punched the butterfly with the MS large Monarch butterfly (Lush!!) the crystals are wild orchid and the sentiment is LOTV.

Hi All! hope everyone is well!

Just a quickie today, I have had this card ready for a few days now, but time just seems to whizz by sometimes!! Well I finally tried a twisted easel! I like the effect, but felt at a bit of a loss how to decorate the base! not sure it will become a favourite!

I used the Fab Kenny K digi download diva I have coloured her with my copics and added some glitter for a bit of bling! the DP's are Heidi grace "oh so loved" collection the are so pretty and girly! the flowers are Prima, the Ribbon I just laid down some double sided tape and ruched the ribbon onto it, I am really pleased with the effect! the Sentiment is LOTV.

BasicGrey DT - more tha none fold

Hi All! Happy saturday!!

Wow where did the last two weeks go!!! Yippeee it's Time for Basicgrey challenge again!!

This fortnight over at BG we want to see more than one fold! that's your easels, your gatefolds, your bi-fold, your tri-folds, even your paper aeroplanes as long as they're made of BG products!!!! Lol!!! I confess I went for the easy option an easel!

One of these days I will figure out how to photograph easel cards!! Well it's another Tilda! I just love the last 2 releases so much!! I have coloured Tilda with my copics, her little coat is paper pieced, I'd quite like a coat like that!! the DP's I have use are basicgrey Eva collection, very girly and pink!! me likey!! the sentiment is LOTV and a bit of ribbon and Bobs your uncle!! I kept the embellies really simple as the papers are quite vibrant!!

Wow what a week!!!!

I won over at Quirky Crafts Challenge!!You really should check out this challenge!! they have great inspiration and Fab prizes!! I won a $10 token to stitchy bear stamps!! Woo hoo!! more than that I am honoured that I have been offered a GDT place!! watch this space!!! And then Today I found out that I had won the sunday sensations prize over at the lovely Jacques Blog!! Truly one of the kindest ladies in Blogland!! not to mention the amazing talent!!!

Well onto today!! a bit of a last minute one this!! I have had the card made for a few days! but forgot to post it!! D'oh!!! It is based on the Fab sketch over at Cute Card Thursday!

Who said sugar and spice and all things nice!!! Lol!!! So I have coloured this moody miss with my copics! the DP is some ancient paper adventures that I dug up a few weeks ago and now can't stop using!!The butterfly is a magnolia do-hicky and the sentiment is LOTV Oh and the lace is from my stash!

As I have said I am entering this into the Cute card Thursday challenge.

Another Beautiful tilda!

Good afternoon all!

Another sunny spring day here in Dundee!!

Well I did warn you!!! Lol!! I just love! love! love! this wee Tilda!

I think she looks younger than a lot of the tilda's!! I think it's the way she's holding her wee bare feet!!

Well I coloured her with my copics the white areas I have highlighted with a nice subtle glitter flock, the DP is Sei bridgeport and has a lovely shimmer to it! the lace is prima, the flowers Wild orchid, buttons from my stash and the sentiment is Lotv.
